About Robert Hayes
Research in radiological air monitoring and emergency response, novel detection technologies and retrospective dosimetry. Tools of the trade span all nuclear spectrometry methods but also include electron paramagnetic resonance, thermoluminesense and optically stimulated luminescence. Past industry experience includes federal radiological emergency response and the back end of the fuel cycle for transuranic waste which included all aspects of health physics but also shielding, nuclear criticality safety and even a touch of radiochemistry.
