Three decades experience integrating and interpreting strategic political, macroeconomic, financial, and intelligence data, providing deep insight and forecasts to guide and inform strategic planning and risk avoidance within the international marketplace. Leverages an extensive network of global resources drawn from business, financial, legal, diplomatic, military, intelligence and law enforcement communities resulting in unique access to worldwide sources of information on individuals, companies and potential partners or clients, including targets in emerging economies and developing nations. Demonstrated ability to protect operations and investments during times of historic political change and unrest and identify and assess those risks to enable well-informed decisions.While Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Director of the National Security Council’s Middle Eastern and North African Affairs Directorate I led an expert team to plan and execute the United States’ most significant economic sanctions since the Cold War as part of a broad strategy for Iran which doubled the sanctions pressure of the previous three administrations in one-third the time. I was a principal architect of the historic Abraham Accords, the most significant diplomatic breakthrough in Middle East peace since 1994. I supervised the development of the first-ever presidentially approved strategies for Iran, Syria, Iraq, Libya, Lebanon and Israel. I was instrumental in the removal of the world’s most dangerous terrorist leaders greatly improving regional stability and safety. I worked with colleagues to coordinate the implementation of a comprehensive strategy with a broad international coalition to defeat ISIS.
