I thrive on the buzz and energy of a construction site and the challenge of managing and meeting multiple goals and deadlines.MY CAREER PROGRESSIONMy career in the real estate industry began when THF Realty hired me as a corporate accountant. I built skills that still help me manage construction finances and budgets, but after a few years, I shifted my focus to asset management and commercial retail construction. Over 10 years, I built seven shopping centers, handling everything from entitlements to tenant follow-up.I left the industry briefly, but a joint owner of THF Realty rehired me into the Kroenke Group. Initially, I headed both the property management and the construction functions. However, as the company grew from 10 million square feet of assets under management to 50 million square feet, the position split, and I focused on construction. Serving as Director of Construction was definitely the better fit for me, and I enjoyed working on Kroenke’s projects.HOW I ADD VALUEI appreciate a busy workday. I can handle all aspects of a construction project, including entitlements, permitting, interfacing with engineers and architects, overcoming objections from local governments, and communicating with tenants to ensure we fulfill their needs. I welcome travel for site inspections or general contractor meetings. I “put out fires” with efficiency and authority, meeting each challenge as it comes. My vast experience enabled me to develop a “tried and true” project sequence and playbook that, when followed faithfully, achieves project goals every time. 20+ years in real estate property and project management.
