I believe entrepreneurs are the engine of the economy—and they deserve every opportunity to succeed. That belief has shaped my entire career. I started out in the world of accounting, driven to help business owners make sense of their numbers. But over time, it became clear that most entrepreneurs weren’t failing because they lacked ideas or work ethic—they were struggling because no one ever taught them how to use their finances as a growth engine. I founded Gauvreau in 2008 to do more than manage numbers—I set out to be the strategic partner business owners need to achieve real, lasting growth. But it didn’t take long to realize the conventional accounting model was too limiting to truly support entrepreneurs in the ways they deserved. So we evolved—redefining what an accounting firm could be and building an award-winning advisory group designed to help business owners not just stay compliant, but thrive. Today, we support them with tax strategy, compliance, legal services, bookkeeping, business coaching, financial planning and more. We’ve since been recognized as one of Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies and one of the Top Great Places to Work. But more important than any accolade is the real impact we’ve had helping thousands of entrepreneurs reduce stress, gain clarity, and build financially sound businesses they can be proud of. That drive to make a bigger difference led me to write The Wealthy Entrepreneur. I saw how many business owners were doing everything they could—but still lacked the tools to move forward. The book was my way of making financial leadership more accessible and actionable. I gave it away freely because I believe business owners deserve the knowledge to succeed—regardless of where they’re starting. We also launched a free Wealthy Entrepreneur Facebook group to support ongoing learning and reflection. As I connected with more entrepreneurs and experts, I saw the value in sharing their stories—and that became The Wealthy Entrepreneur Podcast, a source of practical wisdom and insight business owners rarely hear openly. All of this shaped our Wealthy Entrepreneur coaching program—a system designed to help business owners simplify finances, grow profitably, and lead with purpose. It’s included for all our business clients, because real support is part of how we serve.
