I passed the Michigan Bar in 1992 and the California Bar in 1997. I practiced law in the Detroit, MI area from 1992 to 1996. Since 1997, I have been practicing law in the San Diego, CA area with my brother Freddy Garmo DBA Garmo & Garmo LLP. My primary areas of practice are immigration, real estate, and business transactions.I am currently a real estate broker licensed in California. I am the president of Novoprop Inc. DBA Novo Properties, a real estate brokerage company. My primary areas of practice are commercial real estate acquisitions, sales, finance, & due diligence. I am also involved in real estate development, having developed multiple properties in San Diego county including multiple self-storage facilities, residential care facility for the elderly, hotel, and multi-housingFinally, in 2025, I authored my first book which is on Amazon.
