   Current position focuses on leading the technical efforts and plans to recap existing Oracle Database Hardware from SUN and Dell Hardware and NetApps storage to ExaData and ZFS Backup storage across multiple datacenters.Prior position handled all storage and backup architectures for several DOD systems which span multiple PBs of disk and multiple PBs of tape storage, several thousand VMs, over 100 Oracle Databases and over a thousand backup policies.Primary storage hardware is NetApps (7 Mode & Cluster Mode including NFS, CIF, FC, iSCSI), some Hitchi Tagamastores (FC), an EMC Isilon, and the Oracle/SUN/StorageTek line of tape robots from the small 1/4 rack units through the connected multi-unit 8500s. Backup software is NetBackup.Storage architecture position also involved the detailed placement of all storage volumes to prevent application hotspots and backup policy timings to prevent application performance degredation during the backups.
