I volunteer with a small team of producers to book an award winning reading series as a benefit to CHIRP Radio. We take six interesting Chicagoans (writers, musicians, local business owners, activists, comedians, inspirational wild cards) to tell their side of the story along a rotating theme. Between each storyteller, a live band performs a song of the reader\'s choosing to drive the emotion of the story home. This involves brainstorming talent, coordinating schedules between the venue and the band, heavy email communication, data entry, and financials.
