Since graduating from the University of Liverpool I have developed a broad experience as a Civil Engineer. Starting out as a contractor I developed an understanding of site practices and the delivery of construction projects. Subsequently, I have used this knowledge to deliver feasible risk managed temporary works solutions as a designer. More recently I have worked in management, developing and delivering business initiatives in line with company strategies. As a professional Chartered Civil Engineer, I am passionate about my role and contribution to society and the industry. In this ever changing construction environment, I seek continual development with a long term vision. I actively engage and promote the Institution of Civil Engineers, encouraging others to seek professional qualification. As a STEM ambassador I inspire younger generations to consider a career in Civil Engineering.
