ABOUT ROBERT E. LAMOUREUX

Experienced Chairman and Corporate Director of a number of public and OSFI regulated financial services companies. Keeps current with leading business, specific industry, governance and technology trends. Recognizing soft spots in strategy and execution made easier because of depth of knowledge and experience in financial analysis, auditing and risk. Emphasis on tactful and constructive message delivery, ensures key opportunities and risks are considered, leading to best decisions. Have served in virtually every board role ( including board chairman twice ) on eight corporate boards (five public, two OSFI and one PRA regulated), a number of which required major operational and financial overhaul. Industry experience includes financial services, mining, high tech and supply chain management. Thirty-five year career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in audit and accounting, valuations, risk management and corporate governance, and eight months as interim CFO of a major Canadian public company, in a turnaround situation. Fellow Certified Professional Accountant and certified director of The Institute of Corporate Directors. Former director of the following public companies: Royal Group Technologies (and Chairman), Medworxx Solutions, Consonus Technologies, Augen Gold and SR Telecom. Former director of Foresters Financial (and Chairman) and MRS Trust, OSFI regulated financial services companies, and Forester Life, a Prudential Regulatory Authority (U.K.) regulated company. Served on the boards of Institute of Corporate Directors, ICD College, as inaugural chair of the Ontario chapter of ICD and director of several other not-for-profits. Past President of The Canadian Seniors’ Golf Association and Mississaugua Golf + Country Club. Currently serve as Chair of Education Sector Audit Committee of Government of Ontario and as an advisory board member of an acquisitor start-up.
