About Robert C. Doebele
Robert C. Doebele, MD, PhD specializes in lung and other thoracic malignancies and has been involved in the clinical development of novel oncogene-targeted therapies for ALK, ROS1, RET, and EGFR. In 2013, his lab launched the TRK inhibitor field (for NTRK1/2/3 gene fusions) ultimately leading to the approval of two of the first agnostic drugs in cancer, larotrectinib and entrectinib. His laboratory develops novel patient-derived cancer models to understand and overcome intrinsic and acquired resistance to drugs.
