New Deal Europe brings together tour operators, tourist boards, and suppliers with a focus on the Greater Balkan region of Europe. Our first Global Travel Trade Exchange took place on 5th October 2020. The event was attended by 125 global buyers and 49 Balkan suppliers from 11 Balkan countries. Over 1,200 meetings were arranged, along with 3 seminars on tourism to the region with high level guest speakers. The event received 95% quality rating from attendees and gained 96% willingness to rebook for next year. Our 2021 marketplace and forum in October 2021 had over 200 buyers from 38 countries and 150 suppliers from 12 countries of SE Europe. With more than 30 years in the Tourism Industry I use all my knowledge, experience and contacts to benefit companies who need leisure market solutions. Robert Dee Associates provides consultancy and sales representation services to businesses, associations and government bodies working in the tourism field. In addition I provide training courses in negotiation skills, sales skills, business planning, vision and mission statement setting, and team building. Experience: Delivered the leisure sales strategy for global key accounts for Carlson Rezidor Hotels -one of the World\'s top 10 hotel companies, and the largest upscale hotel company in Europe. Previously I lead the hotel purchasing/contracting team for the largest global operator/wholesaler, GTA. Past Chairman of the Associate Members of the European Tourism Association (ETOA). In addition I represented the views of the hotel industry members on the association\'s advisory committee.Guest lecturer at the University of Surrey School of Management, focusing on sales strategies in tourism.Extensive network of worldwide contacts within tour operating, hotels, airlines and tourist boards.
