An Infusion Nurse is a Registered Nurse who coordinates and provides direct patient care in the home or alternate treatment site, ensuring patient safety with continuity and compliance under a physician’s plan of care. The infusion RN administers intravenous antibiotics, steroids, Immunoglobulin therapy, TNF, and other specialty infusions with continuous monitoring of patients to prevent adverse reactions. Perform venipuncture/IV Cannula insertion, accessed port-a-caths, central venous catheter devices care. Obtain & Monitoring of patients\' lab results. Evaluate patients\' response to treatment plans and consult with physicians accordingly. Provide patient and family education about conditions, medications, and medication effects
