If you are looking for the “boots on the ground” kind of experience then I’m your man. As a Design-Build Project Manager I have design/built, developed or competitively bid and built: • Over $10M in Healthcare projects, i.e, Rural Medicine, Mental Health and Dental clinics, Medical Lab and Radiology offices and facilities, as well as Hospital additions and renovations. • Over $50M in Multi-family apartment developments including award-winning Condominiums. Not to mention my single-family residential affordable housing experience including modular homes and subdivision developments. • In excess of $12M in negotiated and competitively bid Public School additions and renovations in addition to $3M in Private schools and College and University Projects as well as a GSA office and Federal Courthouse development. • Over $6M in Light Manufacturing and Distribution Center projects. • Over $15M in Retail build-outs, restaurants, Banks and various other types Commercial office projects as well retail shopping center development. In addition I have negotiated over $10M of design-build projects for not-for-profit clients like Churches and VFW’s, and YWCA’s. Not to mention that I sold these projects through presentations that included architectural models, estimates, and power point, which I prepared. In addition I am skilled at planning and development of capital projects, as I have done this type of work with various clients over the last 25 years picking up formal Real Estate training, as well as Timberline, Sure-Trak, OSHA, 2003 IBC, ADA, and Auto-CAD/ADT training along the way. As a father of five children teaching and mentoring come naturally to me and twice I have been invited to teach for a semester at Ivy-Tech and at ISU\'s School of Technology. In 2011 I became a published author.
