Design engineer, on Aventra, Electrostar, Turbostar, VLU and SSL product platforms, based within Carbodies, Roof and Underframe disciplines, but also responsible for other areas including interiors and Roof. As an Independent practitioner responsibilities include the integration of design solutions, from original concept through to the completed working and practical design. In addition to validating system process and the supporting of other areas in the overall complete vehicle release and production support involvement. Is responsible that all documentation is accurate and released within acceptable timescales. Previously Design engineer on NLR, SSL & VLU vehicles, focusing on all aspects of the carbody structure and underframe equipment utilising SAP, PDM & Catia systems.
