Providing technical process safety expertise to North Sea Operators assets for developments and decommissioning. Supporting operational teams when agreed to aid on engineering issues.• Advisory capacity for team and external EPCs / specialists on the management and facilitation of technical safety studies e.g. FERA, EERAs, QRA, SIL, DO Reviews, HAZID / HIRA & HAZOPs in delivery with the defined HSE and Discipline plans.• Defining and then implementing asset strategy on approach to decommissioning e.g. declassification, hydrocarbon free status, use of correct risk assessment techniques for current asset mode, global isolation, utilities & refrigerant rundown etc. for all assets.• Reactive engineering / rectification support on operational / producing assets• Regulatory engagement include authoring / provision of design notifications, operational & dismantlement safety cases for all assets.• Development, management (legal compliance) of Performance Standards and Safety & Environmentally Critical Elements in support of the Verification Scheme; • Assurance of the safety, legal compliance and quality of design operations through implementation documentation by continuous improvement of technical content;• Assurance of compliance with regulations, legislation and operational requirements underpinned by the safety cases and COMAH reports.
