And specifically, as it involves architecture, which engages site, context, program, history, and the future…each project has an opportunity…and a responsibility, to express a greater cultural meaning. In these times this cultural meaning is necessary to foster a social trust, a cohesion, and a wellbeing. I believe this is the time to make real progress, real change, demonstrable change in the design of our cities and public spaces.Architecture will be your collaborator in accomplishing this, but architecture can’t do it alone.You need to ask yourself, what do you want to accomplish?
