About Robert Cavener

Having grown up in Newcastle, England, I received a great opportunity to come to the U.S. and play soccer at Central Connecticut State University on a 4-year scholarship. During this time I managed to make some great friends and also met my now wife.Following the completion of my Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance I gained some work experience in Hartford, before accepting another fantastic opportunity, this time back in Newcastle, to do my Masters at Northumbria University. During this time I was able to spend some quality time at home with family and friends, whilst also extending my knowledge of Finance and Accounting with the completion of an MSc in Global Financial Management.In 2014, I moved back to the U.S. where I managed to secure a position with Travelers Companies working as an financial analyst and then a consultant. An opportunity arose following this to join Webster Bank in 2017, where I currently work as the Managing Director of the Reporting & Analytics Team within Commercial Banking. I aim to grow and expand my knowledge of all banking/financial operations within the company, and continue my career development.In my personal time, I enjoy watching and playing pretty much any sport, being outdoors, and traveling. I live in Wethersfield, CT, with my wife and two kids, an area which I love spending time in, with friends and family alike. I look forward to connecting and networking with others who share the same personal or professional interests.
