Conduct origin and cause fire/explosion investigations. Enforce the New Jersey Uniform Fire Code in County owned, leased, and operated properties. Develop and administer fire safety education programs. I manage the County juvenile firesetter program (Phoenix Program) which administers fire safety counseling to juveniles involved with fire play or curiosity. Assist fire departments and other federal, state, and local with various support functions when needed. I currently hold the Uniform Construction Code Fire Inspector ICS license from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. I also hold several certifications from the New Jersey Division of Fire Safety including Firefighter I, Fire Official, Fire Instructor Level 2, IMS - Level 3, and Hazardous Materials On-Scene Commander. I am also a New Jersey State Police certified Hazardous Materials Technician.
