From Nuclear Engineering, Defense Program Manager, brokerage management information, finance and accounting, managing all mutual fund trade operations for the world\'s largest mutual fund company, project management and IT business operations, I have amassed a huge amount of diverse experience including successfully leading teams. At this point in my career I would like to use that knowledge and experience to help my company and particularly our employees succeed. I focus on cost control, risk avoidance, compliance and team empowerment. Builds partnerships with clients and vendors. Particularly enjoy fixing a problem operation or starting a new one, giving it character and putting it on a path to success. I have accomplished this several times in my career, and I derive the most satisfaction from these activities. Ethical behavior is a passion of mine. I was able to build an Integrity Awareness program at Fidelity and served on the Ethics Committee during this period. The program achieved measurable success, and I will bring honesty, integrity and ethical behavior to any job. From Nov 2001 to Dec 2008 I had been responsible for the trade operations supporting the Fidelity Group of Funds. The products include Fixed Income, Equity, US and Foreign, High Yield, Bank Debt and Emerging Markets. Activities my teams perform include confirmation/affirmation, settlements, fail management, FX processing, position and income recon, corporate action processing, informing portfolio managers (PM) and traders of cash available to spend, negotiating lines of credit and the securities lending program. I have past experience in the overnight repo, swap/derivative support post execution and mortgage allocation. I had worked closely with PMs, traders, Legal and Compliance, particularly when starting the derivatives business. I had been asked about specific strategies from a custody standpoint and work with banks to determine an appropriate course of action. My collaboration skills had been invaluable during these efforts.
