Operations manager for the Matthews Gibraltar Construction group where I will be building mausoleums through out the United States. My job description includes working with the Matthew’s Team to provide our clients with beautiful facilities to sharing with the public. This includes overseeing schedules, financial commitments, and communications with our clients along with proposals and contract management.

ABOUT ROBERT BORLAND

Robert Borland has over 25 years of construction experience. His experience is well diversified ranging from Engineering Design at D&L / Philip Services to Heavy Highway at Penn Dot to Disaster Restoration with Church Restoration Group to Historical Restoration at Durable Restoration to Commercial Construction at Jendoco Construction. And now leads the operations at Matthews Gibraltar Mausoleum Construction. This diversity has served him well through the years understanding many aspects of each project being built. Robert\'s formal training as a Civil / Structural engineer provides insight to solving unforeseen construction issues and managing many demanding and complicated projects. He has his E.I.T.(Engineer in Training) certificate and continues to gather experience to sit for the P.E.(Professional Engineer) exam. Historical Restoration continues to be Robert\'s passion. He has extensive experience in historic exterior systems including slate and tile roofs along with historic masonry. Robert wrote over 100 inspection reports for various historic religious structures in the south coast region after Hurricane Katrina and Rita went through the region in 2005. He continues to be involved in historic restoration recently completing a historic masonry restoration project for a religious structure in the Pittsburgh area. As part of Jendoco Construction, Robert build projects and relationships with many religious, higher education, and commercial clients in the greater Pittsburgh area. In 2008, Robert obtained LEED AP status. This achievement provides insight to sustainable projects.Robert now serves as Operations Manager for Matthews Gibraltar Mausoleum Construction where he helps with construction project oversight for Mausoleum construction throughout the US and CanadaSpecialties: Historical Restoration, Project Management, LEED AP, Civil / Structural Engineer, E.I.T.
