Responsible for managing the E-Mobility team and tasks of the systems engineering department (including system requirements and validation, functional safety management, and cyber security) in the North America region. Responsible for the department OP/SP budget planning, meeting project targets and department goals within the limits of the established financial business plan. This includes providing strategic and technical direction to the System Engineers, Functional Safety Managers, and Cyber Security Engineers in terms of \"operational excellence\"(processes, methods, tools, etc.). •Manage and oversee all technical related system engineering, functional safety, and cyber security activities within the region to support internal and external customers •Develop staffing plans, risk assessments, and internal solutions to improve systems engineering standards, performance, and processes in the region, in alignment with similar functions in other regions •Process owner for all processes relating to System Engineering, Functional Safety Management and Cyber Security •Responsible to ensure that all customer and system requirements are linked together and achieved •Ensure documentation for system requirements and validation meet corporate quality standards •Support the annual business planning process for the business unit by determining demand for headcount, equipment investment and operating expenses based on planned development programs •Work closely with project management and development teams, locally and globally, to ensure business development, new business acquisition, and overall performance targets are met for the division •Monitor progress and completion of all System Engineering, Functional Safety, and Cyber Security related development project topics with respect to timing, quality, and cost targets •Actively support the sales activities for the region, regarding System Engineering •Manage new business acquisition from RFQ through customer deliverables
