About Robert Bergman
Robert Bergman is the President of the Bergman Family Foundation, providing meaningful capital and counsel to non-profit organizations focused on empowering under-resourced individuals for the betterment of themselves and their communities.In 2013, Robert co-founded Bedrock Automation with Albert Rooyakkers. Bedrock Automation protects critical infrastructure by developing the world’s most powerful and cyber secure automation platforms based on three prime directives: simplicity, scalability, and security. The result was an award-winning platform called OSA® - Open Secure Automation, with deeply embedded ICS cyber security and the highest levels of performance and reliability at the lowest lifecycle costs. Bedrock Automation was acquired in 2021.Prior to Bedrock in 2007, Robert co-founded Maxim\'s new Corporate Business Development Group with Albert Rooyakkers and built the M&A practice as Executive Director. The Maxim Corporate Business Development group completed over a dozen M&A transactions in its first six years and also executed strategic investments, partnerships, divestitures and stealth technology projects, the last being the technology Albert Rooyakkers invented which was spun out of Maxim and became Bedrock Automation.Robert started at Maxim Integrated in 1995 and held several sales management positions from 19••••07.Robert graduated from The Lawrenceville School with honors. He was an All-American swimmer and water polo player. Robert earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from UCLA and Executive Education from both The Wharton School and Harvard Business School.
