I have over 15 years of problem-solving experience in engineering consulting and retail energy industry. I am at home in fast paced, entrepreneurial environments where I apply structured problem solving methodologies to solve both ambiguous and under-defined business issues. I drive organization value through creating flexible, efficient, and scalable business processes for new opportunities and re-engineering outdated processes to more effectively operate under new market conditions. I enjoy assembling and working with cross functional teams to define and realize long term strategy through collaboration and successful execution of out-of-the-box solutions to complex business problems.I am currently the Supply Business Operations Manager where I leverage my business knowledge, leadership skills, and project management background to deliver bottom line value through the design and implementation of technological solutions that solve multifaceted business issues. My recent work has included leading the implementation of an Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) software package, streamlining position generation for a $150MM dollar natural gas book, creating a deal capture process for structured price contracts, and developing an approach to assess transfer pricing for analyzing commodity deals. My competencies include strategy, process improvement, process engineering, project management, vendor management, business analysis, business process mapping, value stream mapping, planning, requirements, testing, data analytics, VBA, SQL, and just about every product Microsoft has in their portfolio including MS Project and MS Visio. I am deficient in successfully explaining all this to my family when they ask what I do for a living.
