I\'m a mechanical design engineer with high technical aptitude, clear & concise communication skills, and team leadership ability to bring together team members with varying contributions for a successful project. I have a broad base of expertise from coaching elementary school kids basketball, teaching engineering, internships in the automotive industry, research in microfluidics, and 9+ years of design experience in the jet turbine industry.Most recently, I was the Systems Engineer for High Pressure Turbine on the GP7200, a large commercial jet engine on the Airbus A380, the world\'s largest passenger jet. Originally, I served in that role in a temporary/emergency basis, along with my prior role\'s manager. We re-organized and redirected the team and executed multiple successful redesigns in 8-12 weeks after the team had made insufficient progress in the prior 9 months.I love digging into details and understanding how they impact the bigger picture, which is my strong suit as an engineer.
