About Robert Austin
I am a law enforcement professional with over 20 years in law enforcement including command level supervision. I have been an active shooter instructor for the vast majority of my career and have specialized in the civilian response to active shooter events for almost 15 years. This specialty used to mean that I would go and talk to teachers and administrators in my area regarding school safety. While school safety is still a driving motivation for me, active shooter events can happen anywhere and any time. Safepro Technologies has developed a system to help save lives during emergency events like an active threat and I am proud to be a part of making schools and business safer.
