About Robert Aslett
Rob is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Silicon Integration Initiative Inc.(Si2). Si2 is a not-for-profit membership organization with over 65 corporate and academic members who innovate on trusted standards and share solutions that lower development costs and increase design productivity. Rob is responsible for making Si2 an indispensable partner for improving efficiencies through integrated circuit (IC) design flow integration and standards development in the semiconductor industry. Rob has over 30 years of experience leading global technical organizations and has held multiple leadership roles in strategy, research, development and support of electronic design automation (EDA) software, methods and flows for designing and validating integrated circuits. Before joining Si2, Rob was vice president and general manager of the Product Development Solutions organization at Intel. Rob is also the Board President and investor partner with Social Venture Partners of Portland, a leader in applying venture philanthropy to create social impact. Through his work with SVP, he applied his management and leadership skills to multiple nonprofit enterprises to increase their organizational capacity. He also has been an occasional guest lecturer at Portland State University\'s graduate class for Engineering and Technology Management, which utilizes the book he co-authored with John M.
