   My role as an application engineer involves the mastery and continued learning of the features and capabilities of ZEISS Optical Metrology Hardware and Inspection Software to assist in their sales and support. If there is something we haven\'t seen or done before, how are we able to accomplish the customer\'s end goal.Utilizing drawings, CAD models and Inspection plans, I create inspection plans within the ZEISS GOM Inspect Software that are able to drastically improve inspection times and the users understanding of their part. The user is able to diagnose root cause of issues and visualize their manufacturing process to a greater degree than ever before.ZEISS 3D scanning equipment and software is implemented in all industries, from Aerospace and Casting, Automotive, Reverse Engineering, Incoming Quality Inspections at Shipbuilding, Medical, and even basic injection molding for toys! In addition to assisting in the sales of capital equipment, I provide support and trainings to new and existing customers looking to learn how to better use the ZEISS GOM Inspect software and hardware. Then, trade shows and conferences are a common way that we assist in the generation of leads and interest of our technology, participating in multiple per year.
