ABOUT ROBERT ACKATIA-ARMAH
I am deeply committed to exploring the program linkages aimed at addressing social disparities in developing communities and humanitarian contexts. My particular interest lies in focusing on nutrition programming pathways that improve national systems linked to double-duty actions in nutrition, food security, and food systems. I have been actively involved in research through a strong network of local and international collaborations in various countries, with the goal of translating field research into sustainable community-based integrated programs for low-income households and vulnerable populations, refugees and displaced populations, especially in humanitarian settings.To improve program delivery, implementation, assessment, and evaluation of community-based interventions in resource-poor and vulnerable settings, understanding the communities we work with is critical. This engagement requires not just technical skills but strong anthropological foundations coupled with strong management skills and diplomacy, which impact change at a systems level.With a strong systems mindset and significant experience in senior management and technical positions, advocacy, negotiations, and diplomacy, I have led teams with a mixture of multicultural, technical, administrative, and managerial skills.
