About Rob Cusick
My name is Rob Cusick I am a photographer based out of the greater New York City area. At the age of 17 I developed my passion for photography. Subjects then consisted of surfers catching a wave in front of Casino Pier in New Jersey; an iconic surf break which destroyed a few years ago by Hurricane Sandy. During this time period I ran my own surf website CNJsurf.com, which focused on surf photography around Ocean County, NJ. I attended Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2007, which was a 10 month certification program. It afforded me the opportunity to learn product photography, portraiture, technical aspects of photography, marketing, finance, and other items needed to be a well versed photographer. Upon successful completion of my certification program, I focused on E-commerce Studios photographing model product and table top product for: Urban Outfitter Brands, Century 21 stores NYC, Southmoon Under, Jet; to name a few. I also have had the privilege of working with the amazing teams at Red Bull Media House, Verizon Wireless, and McgarryBowen. I am available for freelance, small business owners looking to tell a story via photography or film about their program.
