Manage the Insights & Innovation team at Wave focused on delivering insights, reporting, and AI / ML tools that have driven key product decisions for Wave’s financial services technology platform. Manage a team of eight data analysts and two analytics engineers.• Extracted data from complex tables in Redshift via SQL and delivered advanced analysis in Python. • Introduced dbt to Wave, building out new data models and a semantic layer to standardize metrics and reporting in Looker built from Wave’s AWS Redshift environment. • Stood up new data governance and data catalog tools for Wave to improve data observability and understanding amongst stakeholders.• Helped to launch Wave’s first internal GenAI agent tool to improve invoice review times for Risk team members.• Introduced agile, scrum methodologies to the Analytics team, implementing best-practice sprint rituals and processes in Jira, with transparent reporting of team performance to stakeholders.
