About Rob Chen

As a Vice President of Civilian Operations, I have operational, financial, and business responsibility over of a portfolio of programs that fall under various federal clients. I have over 20 years of previous IT experience in the commercial and federal market space to draw from. I have managed projects and programs end-end and have a wide breadth of operations and P&L experience. I also draw experience from my most recent role as the Federal Civilian Account Executive responsible for capture strategy and business development. My current and previous responsibilities include but are not limited to- Business development and capture activities which include oversight and production on bids and proposals, leading the capture process, new business growth in new accounts, organic growth with existing customers, price-to-win strategies, and multiple teaming arrangements to strengthen and position for opportunities- Full accountability for the P&L which includes budget oversight, cost management, and profitability analysis- Leading efforts on emerging technologies which include bringing concepts of the Big Data, Agile, Mobility, cloud computing, enterprise architecture, and virtual collaboration to federal customers- Customer interfacing and relationships which include frequent face-face meetings with teaming partners and government clients to discuss technical advances, business growth, teaming potential, and business opportunities.
