About Robby General
Born and raised in Chicago, I’ve lived in Indiana since 2014, residing in Muncie, Indianapolis, and, now, Hobart. I love to learn new things. My wife and I bought a fixer-upper in 2023, so most of my new skills have revolved around home renovation. Our baby girl was born in March 2026, so that\'s been quite the adventure, as well. I also love reading, gaming, trying new foods, working out, and watching sports (mainly football).As a lifelong athlete, I decided to pursue a career in sports journalism and covered major events like the Olympics and NCAA Championships. I built lasting relationships that I appreciate to this day. Though rewarding, as a journalist I missed important moments in my family and friend\'s lives, which led to a career shift to marketing and communications.Now, I apply my journalism skills — writing, social media, web management and analytics — to create impactful content and campaigns while understanding how to promote them. I’m passionate about learning new technologies and finding innovative communication solutions. I’m a quick learner who constantly adapts and grows to an ever-changing industry while helping those around me find the best communication strategies to reach their unique goals.
