About Rob Budny

Rob is a mechanical engineer, and has worked in the renewables industry for the past 20 years. His career in renewables began at a wind turbine OEM, and then expanded to solar and BESS. Rob was a cofounder of Ensemble Energy, a pioneering software company that changed the way renewable energy asset performance management was implemented. In his role as General Manager at Calibre Energy, Rob provides complete Utility Scale BESS solutions to utilities, co-ops, and developers in the Western United States. Calibre Energy is an authorized sales agent for WEG, a multi-billion dollar company with over employees around the globe. WEG has been in business for 60 years, and has 30 years of selling mission critical electrical equipment to utilities in the US and around the world.
