ABOUT ROBBIE CROW
Hey I’m Robbie and you should follow me for practical hints, tips and advice that will help your organisation be a great place to work. Recognised as one of the most influential disabled people in the UK, I’m a strategic people and experience leader focused on building high performing organisations through better culture, systems, and employee experience. I’m driven by three simple principles - make it work, make it fair, make it last. For me, that means building things that work in practice, creating fairer experiences and systems for people, and focusing on lasting change rather than short-term fixes or performative initiatives. At the BBC, I lead work across DEI & B, accessibility, talent, and organisational change. I shape policy, build services that actually work in practice, and work with senior leaders to drive lasting change across a complex organisation. My work sits across strategy, policy, and delivery. I focus on making things practical and scalable - strengthening culture and embedding inclusion and belonging across the full employee experience, not just in isolated initiatives. I turn insight into action - breaking down complex challenges into clear, workable approaches that improve how organisations attract, support, and retain talent. Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, bringing together professional expertise and lived experience to keep the work grounded in reality. Registered blind since birth. Partially sighted, completely motivated.(Please note, my BBC remit is workforce only. I do not engage with media or news requests, press releases, editorial, or on screen matters, and cannot comment on BBC content or customer facing accessibility)
