WORK HISTORY
Head of Innovation @Propel Hr
Austin, TX, US
At Propel, I focus on improving how we serve clients by strengthening the systems and processes that support onboarding, implementation, benefits, payroll, and ongoing client management. My work starts with the customer experience and then translates into clearer internal workflows that help teams deliver consistent, accurate results.I developed the original concept and first working version of Bold after recognizing how much opportunity there was to streamline the client lifecycle, eliminate silos, and replace complicated tools with something built specifically for how Propel operates. With leadership support and a clear vision, the initial prototype became the foundation for what is now being built into a standalone platform. My role combines product thinking, process design, and hands-on problem solving, with a focus on creating systems that make the work easier for teams and better for clients.

ABOUT ROBB DUKE
I build systems and products for service-heavy industries where the work is complicated, the rules are strict, and the tools don’t fit the job. I’ve always been drawn to the parts of a business where things stall out — onboarding, compliance, credentialing, implementation — and figuring out how to make those processes cleaner and easier for the people doing the work. That’s the common thread behind what I do today. At Propel, I serve as Head of Innovation. I’m responsible for spotting operational bottlenecks and building better systems to support the teams who manage onboarding, implementation, benefits, payroll, and client service. I designed and built the first version of Bold — a platform created to solve Propel’s internal challenges — before we began expanding it into a standalone product for the PEO space. At pie Health, I’m the founder. I started pie after seeing how healthcare practices were losing time and revenue because of poor enrollment processes and scattered systems. I designed the workflows, built the first product, and shaped the service model that supports practices today. We’re now expanding that foundation into technology that gives practices a cleaner, more reliable way to manage payor relationships. In both companies, my role has been the same:see the problem clearly, design a practical solution, build the first version, and turn it into something real.If you’re working on healthcare operations, PEO infrastructure, or early-stage product development in complex service environments, I’m always open to connecting.
