ABOUT ROBERT ROBB A. JONES

Robb Jones knows how to build successful businesses. Turns out it’s in his blood. When both of your parents are entrepreneurs, people kind of assume you’re going to be one, too. It’s like a genetic trait—the business gene. In the case of Robb Jones, this proves true. Both of his parents ran successful businesses, and he wasted no time following in their footsteps. Soon after graduating from Morehouse College, Robb co-founded a company that designed, manufactured and marketed high-end fashion and apparel in college bookstores and department stores.And he didn’t stop there. By the time Robb earned his MBA from Clark Atlanta University School of Business, he’d founded two more successful enterprises and then became a co-founder JLW Homes & Communities—an intown homebuilding and real estate development company. For the next 20 years, Robb immersed himself in the real estate development industry, planning and producing multi-million-dollar residential projects, most within Atlanta’s intown neighborhoods.At Cityscape, he leads an overall operation of the production homebuilding and development platform, as well as the network of master builders, architects, urban planners, engineers and sales/marketing firms, all working together with a single goal in mind—to create desirable intown communities that lift existing neighborhoods up. Since founding the JLW Community Foundation in 2003, Robb has been an active volunteer with the Morehouse Mentoring Program, Covenant House, and Hands on Atlanta.Additionally, Robb has also held seats on the Boards of several nonprofits, including Park Pride, Georgia Conservation Voters, and the Atlanta Beltline (TADAC).
