ABOUT ROBB HARRIS
I am a CIMA qualified, SME FD with a broad range of experience. Between 1997 and 2008, I worked in a variety of commercial accounting roles in larger organisations such as Kraft Foods, Channel 4 Television and Unilever.Since 2008, I have worked in director level finance roles within a number of SMEs, plus a two year, wholly operational role in the hospitality sector. I have gained experience in corporate & debt finance, stakeholder management and have led projects across operations, financial control, purchasing, operating systems and business efficiency, as well as all day-to-day transactional, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting elements.In addition to the breadth of my experience, I feel that my primary strengths lie in balancing the commercial and operational requirements of an SME with the more traditional accounting eye for detail, discipline and efficiency. I have a relaxed and effective communication style and enjoy working with people at all levels within organisations.I am currently working as a portfolio FD, assisting SMEs on a part-time and project basis to deliver their commercial and financial objectives.
