ABOUT MILES ROBERT ARONSON

I’ve spent more than two decades building at the intersection of business, community, and social impact.My early and renewed work focuses on community engagement, philanthropy, and social entrepreneurship — raising more than $1.2M spanning donations, in-kind support, and pro bono contributions for causes including homelessness, food insecurity, and animal welfare. I was privileged to receive national and international accolades including Canada\'s Top 20 Under 20, and being named a Peter Cruddas Social Innovator by Prince Edward, at Buckingham Palace, London, UK. Due to community impact results, I\'ve continued to \"give back\" by serving on boards and committees for TELUS, Calgary Stampede and the University of Calgary.That foundation continues to shape how I approach leadership and philanthropy today.Professionally, I bring 13+ years of experience across consulting, entrepreneurship, and private industry. Most recently, I spent seven years in a senior management role within a $120M ARR transportation company, working closely with ownership and leading senior leaders to design and launch new programs, portfolios, and operating divisions. In many ways, I operated as an intrapreneur — launching subsidiaries across Canada, Bermuda, and India to drive operational efficiency and long-term growth. Alongside my corporate work, I’m the Founder & Managing Director of Steer Media — a boutique public relations company — specializing in brand strategy, event management, media relations and industry leadership positioning. I hold a Master’s degree in Business Management (Innovation & Entrepreneurship) from Queen’s University, and an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Public Health from the University of Calgary, along with certifications in social impact, business continuity, health & safety, and leadership.At my core, I’m drawn to building — organizations, initiatives, partnerships, and ideas. I value clear thinking, decisive action, and working with good people who care about what they’re creating.I’m always open to connecting with others who are building something meaningful.
