I am currently focused on pain management with orthopedic patients in particular. I spend my time obtaining accurate histories, physically examining, ordering tests to efficiently diagnose and treat oftentimes complex cervical/lumbar spine issues with concomitant shoulder/wrist, hip, knee, foot and ankle pathology. Depending on the underlying cause a variety of interventions can be ordered or performed from anything between an in-office bursa injection to scheduling an epidural steroid injetion. Considerable time is spent discussing the patient\'s images including Xrays and MRIs as well as the treatment options. I educate the patient on pharmacologic treatments as well as physical therapy/chiropractic care/accupuncture and off course interventional injection therapies with Dr. Babl.
