ABOUT ROB ALTEMEYER M.
Rob Altemeyer holds a Masters Degree in Natural Resource Management and has thirty years of experience healing the planet and working to reduce poverty. His skill set includes stakeholder relations, policy analysis, fundraising, strategic planning and communications. His areas of expertise include climate change, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and affordable housing. As a four-term Member of the Manitoba Legislative Assembly he helped local organizations achieve over 100 physical improvements in his constituency, including new affordable and LEED Certified housing co-ops, new and expanded child care centres, community development programs, green space, community gardens and recreation facilities. Now retired from politics, Rob enjoys working as a consultant with a range of private companies, social enterprises, and non-profit organizations. He is the proud Dad of a blended family with four children aged 9 to 21 in Winnipeg, Canada.
