ABOUT ROB WATSON
A delivery focused hands on chartered professional, leading and influencing project teams of all sizes in both Project Management & Construction management. Developing and implementation of various procurement strategies, experienced site delivery of hotels, high rise, retail,refurbishments & high end residential/mix use developments. As a product of the Mace Group graduate training scheme, spending over 5 years with Mace UK and the latter part of my career with Mace international total 14 year service provided to the Mace Group a career progression to associate director grade. I decided to pursue my career with the leading international/UAE developer Emaar as their appointed Director of Projects. Emaar quickly entrusted me for the operational delivery of their selected high profile & \'special\' projects liaising and reporting to the multiple stakeholders and CEO. My experiences to date are wide ranging from grass roots site level, through to understanding and implementing processes at a strategic level operational and site delivery. Continually gaining the fundamental project management skills and processes necessary to deliver projects at various stages, my experiences demonstrate that as a Project leader I am adaptable to the changing and challenging roles, Client facing in all environments. Early exposure and repeated requirements to manage demands & expectations of clients, design teams, and contractors, I quickly developed strong interpersonal skills and continually demonstrate my ability to communicate and report at all levels, some of the supporting requisites needed to manage aspects of the whole development process, at the same time adhering to process,establishing the clients goals and managing constraints. A hands-on chartered professional, I have an energetic, creative methodical, analytical and tenacious approach to any task given. I believe that I have the required attributes to be a successful and valued leader to any operational delivery team.
