ABOUT ROB WAITE
Rob is an Associate Director working as part of a multidisciplinary group of building engineers. He has a particular interest in helping clients develop Net Zero Carbon buildings.From concept design stage to detailed design Rob has experience in the design of buildings across a wide variety of sectors, including: airports, sports stadia, data centres, offices, laboratories and mixed-use developments. Notable projects of his include the prestigious Ruskin Square and Blossom Street developments in London and the flagship stadium for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup. Rob works as part of a multidisciplinary team in Arup\'s Newcastle office. He believes in a cross-disciplinary approach and enjoys working with the wide variety of professionals that exist in the building engineering industry. Rob is a Chartered Engineer (CEng IMechE).Rob has a particular interest in low energy and low carbon design. His aim on all projects is to contribute to a building that is both energy efficient and as simple to operate and maintain as possible. Through his understanding of commercial drivers and ability to form strong relationships and problem-solving expertise enable him to unblock barriers and deliver sustainable outcomes for his projects.
