In this role I will be leading Aramco and Valvoline’s F1 technology program in support of the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team.Working closely with Aramco’s Advanced Fuels Research Centre in Paris and Valvoline’s Global R&D Centre at their HQ in Lexington, KY we’ll be developing, and taking racing, Aramco fuels and Valvoline lubricants for the new Honda F1 PU as well as driveline and chassis lubricants all for the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team’s 2026 championship challenger.

I’m a Charted Engineer, with 18 years\' experience in fuels, lubricants, motorsport & automotive technology. I have a track record of building and leading effective multi-disciplined teams to quickly solve technically and operationally complex challenges.I am comfortable acting decisively, providing clear priorities and direction. I work closely with my team, motivating and encouraging them and supporting both their personal development and project delivery. I have experience of managing a large R&D budgets balancing technical delivery against financial and headcount constraints to deliver multiple complex projects.I enjoy technical interactions, collaborating with internal and external experts. Combining my own knowledge, with my ability to quickly learn new concepts, I quickly distill problems and I’m then a strong integrator, driving forward collaborative solutions. Through such interactions I develop strong relationships throughout a cross-functional network of experts, stakeholders and customers.Outside of work I enjoy cycling and the outdoors.
