An experienced CIMA/CGMA-qualified finance manager with 9 years experience of leading teams and working in a finance department of a large Retail Organisation. I have performed well in a number of finance roles, from business strategy, through commercial business partnering to management accounting. I’m focused on setting my teams up to succeed to the best of their ability and through my coaching and leadership place an emphasis on their personal development alongside delivery of business objectives. In addition to this I have hands-on experience of using SAP, COGNOS and desktop software packages so have developed strong technical and analytical skills. Prior to B&Q gained international commercial experience as a management consultant for Marakon Associates, working in European banking and pharmaceuticals clients as well as UK telecoms.
