About Rob Rioux

I am a recent graduate of Hamilton College (\'21). I have a BA in Environmental Studies with a concentration in biogeochemistry and government minor. I am currently continuing my education as a Master of Environmental Science (MESc) candidate at the Yale School of the Environment. I am in Dr. Jim Saiers\'s hydrology lab. My current research focus is on modeling the water quality impacts of natural carbon capture methods, specifically enhanced silicate weathering.As an interdisciplinary environmental scientist, I have developed a wide range of quantitative skills that will be valuable in environmental research and management. In my studies, I\'ve acquired proficiency in water resource management, water quality issues, and biogeochemistry. My other interests include carbon dioxide removal technology, climate solutions, GIS and ArcMap, land use (law, planning, and impacts), and the Food-Water-Climate nexus.I look forward to entering cutting-edge water resource science and management upon completion of my MESc degree in May 2023!
