About Rob Ramseyer
Over six years of experience directing an outstanding NAIA athletic program and 24 teams to achieve historical athletic and academic success. Provided the vision and organizational leadership that produced top men’s and women’s varsity programs. Obtained results by managing and developing a staff of 70 to establish new programs and produce high achieving teams. Produced a strong, holistic culture which motivated student-athletes to excel personally, in the classroom, and on the field. Dedication to continuous improvement, facility upgrades, high enrollment rates, and technological advancements resulted in funding and managing numerous projects. The initiatives impacted the performance of student-athletes and increased morale. In addition to serving as Vice President of Athletics and Strategic Expansion, I established and manage a holistic coaching business. The program focuses on working with coaches and administrators to develop training, provide consulting, and offer professional development to expand coaching skills and produce top 21st century athletes. The teachings and philosophy are also utilized at Friends University to ensure all student-athletes obtain the tools they need to excel in every aspect of their life.My administrative experience began serving as an Interim Dean of Students and receiving a promotion to Vice President of Student Development and Athletic Director of Hesston College. In addition to my higher education leadership roles, I held Adjunct Professor positions at Friends University, MidAmerica Nazarene University, Hesston College, and Sterling College. Teaching master’s and undergraduate courses allowed me to impact student learning and obtain a greater appreciation of higher education. Dedication to professional development was recognized while delivering speeches at numerous conferences and conventions throughout the United States. The presentations expanded the knowledge of athletic directors, coaches, and administrators. Leadership, team building, collaboration, and creating a strong organizational culture have been the driving force of my career. Those key elements foster student-athlete and coaching success, which impact all levels of a university and athletic programs. You are welcome to contact me to reconnect or discover additional information regarding Friends University athletic programs and capital projects. I look forward to hearing from you.
