My primary focus is to research and revise the current quality program for Wind farm construction and develop corrective action plans to improve safety and quality control. Partner closely with key stakeholders to gather input on areas of risk within construction processes; identify opportunities for quality team to help. Review contractual requirements for inspection and testing criteria for the sites. Act as a liaison between site quality and corporate quality teams; oversee implementation of new inspection requirements, staffing, training, and related travel needs. Visit project sites to verify adoption and adherence to site-specific quality programs; monitor site work to ensure quality metrics meet or exceed customer and Blattner requirements; train site personnel on six sigma methodologies. Confirm required third party testing is performed on time, meets the standards, and is documented correctly. Conduct non-conformance investigations utilizing Tap-Root program on high cost, high threat NCR’s; develop and implement corrective and preventative action plans and monitor warranty claims.
