The Biorepository Resource Center (BioRC) at the Children\'s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is an Institutional Resource Center aimed at providing investigators with high quality resources for biobanking. We currently support a wide variety of biobanking efforts across the CHOP Research Institute and are a CAP accredited biorepository. The BioRC has the capacity to store millions of samples in traditional and robotic storage units, provides specimen processing, and automated nucleic acid extraction services.
