ABOUT ROB PARKER

I am an experienced solicitor specialising in all aspects of family law and I head the family team at Lamb Brooks. I have expertise in resolving a wide range of matters in relation to separation, divorce, cohabitation and children. I have a particular interest and experience at dealing with more complex financial cases, typically involving family businesses, pensions, overseas assets, inheritance and/or trust arrangements. I regularly advise on matters relating to arrangements for children. Following recent legal developments, I am also increasingly instructed in relation to preparing and advising on cohabitation and pre-nuptial agreements.I am an active member of Resolution (the solicitors’ family law association) which encourages the settlement of disputes in a constructive and non-confrontational manner. I assist my clients in finding solutions to their disputes outside of court, but where the court becomes a necessary option, I represent my clients throughout that process.I am also a trained mediator and collaborative lawyer. Collaborative practice brings separating couples together at four-way meetings with their lawyers with the aim of reaching an amicable solution in respect of the arrangements for their children and/or finances, and without the need to attend court. I am the Liaison Officer for the North Hampshire Collaborative Pod, a committee for the Collaborative Lawyers in the local area. I chair the local meetings and represent the group at national level.
