ABOUT ROB NEELY

I\'m an Associate Professor in the School of Chemistry at The University of Birmingham, Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder of Tagomics. Tagomics spun out of my lab in 2021 and is deploying novel epigenetic tools for monitoring disease.I previously held an EPSRC Healthcare Technologies Challenge Award (20••••21), which my research group used to develop new approaches for epigenomic DNA profiling that underpin Tagomics.Current research in my group focuses on the development of new chemistries for studying DNA and it\'s multitude of associated processes. We apply this chemistry in state-of-the-art fluorescence imaging and DNA sequencing experiments. More info is available on our group website and at the School of Chemistry, UoB trained as a Chemist at Edinburgh University and previously held a Marie Curie IEF (KU Leuven), an EPSRC research fellowship at Edinburgh University. I was also a postdoc at New England Biolabs, MA.I co-founded a research tools company, Chrometra, with colleagues from the KU Leuven in 2016 and exited in 2021.
